Review for legere reeds. I just got my Legere 2.75 alto sax reed in today, my first synthetic reed. It really surprised me. It is very free blowing, but mabye because its a little soft to my liking. The sound got a little spread after a few minutes, but it was a focused sound. Again the spreading is probably because a thin reed.. Thick ebony gif

I think the sound is more complex and colorful than their HR* model, which I had for comparison. The HR* added kind of a buzz on top of everything that I didn’t like.
